Southern style chicken goujons

Calories: goujons are guiltfree and just 50 cals for the dip for the whole tub

Notes:

Ingredients:

  • 5 chicken fillets
  • 60 grams of dried instant potato (must be at least 98% potato)
  • 2 eggs whisked
  • 1/2 tbsp of oregano
  • 1/2 tbsp of thyme
  • 1/2 tbsp of white ground pepper
  • 1/4 tbsp of cumin
  • low calorie spray oil

Creamy sweet chill dip

  • 2 tbsp of zero fat greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp of lighter then light mayonaise
  • 1 tbsp of light sweet chill sauce

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 190 degrees celsius
  • Cut each chicken fillets into 3 goujons
  • in a seperate bowl mix the instant potato with all the dried herbs
  • Toss the goujons in the whisked egg then into the dried herb mix
  • On a oven proof tray place the coated goujons
  • Spray well with low calorie oil spray and leave to settle for 5 minutes to let the spray react with the herb coating
  • Place in the preheated oven for 20-25 mins until goujons are crispy

Sweet chilli dip

  • Mix all the ingredients together

Best to prepare the dip earlier and marinade in the fridge as the flavours will infuse and develop. Approx calories are 50 from our daily allowance for the who tub
