Notes:

Ingredients:

  • Packet of extra lean mince
  • Frozen petit pois
  • Mushrooms
  • Carrots
  • Onions
  • Worchester sauce
  • 2 stock cubes
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Potatoes
  • 3 level teaspoons of bisto gravy powder

Instructions:

Dry fry mince until brown and drain off any liquid
Replace mince back in pot and add chopped onions, mushrooms, carrots and crumble 2 stock cubes and fry together for 5 mins.
Add a splash of worchester sauce and add boiling water just to cover mince. Let simmer for 25 – 30 mins.
While mince is simmering cook potatoes as usual and when ready mash.
After mince has been simmering for 25 – 30 mins stir in gravy and another splash of worchester sauce.
Stir in large handful of frozen peas and then place the mince mixture into oven proof dish and add mashed potato on top. prick all over with a fork and place in oven at 190 – 200 degrees for 30 mins and serve.
